Teaching and academic examinations in India are conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in collaboration with IITs. These exams determine eligibility for university-level teaching positions (UGC NET), school teaching (CTET), and postgraduate admissions or PSU recruitment (GATE).
